What the platform is
Aye Wanda is a tutoring platform built on the decomposition of tutoring and current AI research. At its center is a core tutoring engine: the model is one part of it, surrounded by customized teaching guidance, learning context, tools, and orchestration. Around the engine sit abstraction layers that let an organization adopt a custom implementation for its own subject matter — its curriculum, its reference materials, its practical exercises — without rebuilding the engine.
The same engine offers low-cost tutoring to consumers who need help with general coursework. That is the point of the design: one engine, many doors, and a price that puts a patient tutor within reach of communities that have never had one.
Who it serves
- Corporate training departments — certification preparation and job-skill practice on the company's own materials.
- Colleges and universities — programs, pathways, and faculty-authored domains.
- School districts — student-safe guided tutoring that explains its reasoning.
- Learners everywhere — general curriculum support at consumer prices, with the aim of cost-friendly tutoring for underserved communities across the world.
How it was built
Aye Wanda carries everything this firm has done since 2007: enterprise software design, systems integration, cybersecurity, and workforce-development consulting with California's community colleges. The research behind it comes from synED, the nonprofit our founder leads, whose publications on domain expertise, cost, and human-AI collaboration are listed below.
Why it matters
Cost cutting is the road to disaster. Human augmentation is the road to global abundance. Aye Wanda is our demonstration of the second road: AI that makes a learner, a teacher, or an employee more capable, rather than a line item that makes them unnecessary.
