## Context

College of the Canyons hosts the ICT–Digital Media sector's annual Digital Media Educators Conference for community college and K-12 faculty and industry partners.

## Engagement

From 2014 through 2018 the Santa Clarita Community College District engaged us each year for marketing and event support: the promotional flyer, a conference micro-site on ICT-DM.net with call-for-papers and registration, mass email to registrants, and reporting.

## What we delivered

- Print-ready flyers and agenda booklets.
- The registration and call-for-papers system and email campaigns.
- Speaker-material publishing, conference-app session ratings, and post-event feedback analysis.
- Event photography and video. In 2017 we also held a regional funding subcontract under a Chancellor's Office grant.

## Outcome

The 2015 conference (June 11–12) signed in roughly 260 attendees for 65 sessions across five tracks. Attendee ratings were strong: the opening keynote averaged 4.88 of 5, and sessions such as "Open Source Democracy," "Drones vs. UAVs," and "Why Virtual Reality is Real" rated 4.9–5.0. The 2018 conference drew registrants from every community-college region, K-12 districts, and industry partners including Esri, Certiport, and LinkedIn Learning.
