## Context

An insurance-software company's instructional design group needed reusable navigation and interactive components so Captivate-authored courses could work within its corporate learning-management system.

## Engagement

From 2008 to 2010 we developed and supported course-packaging tools, a menu framework and interactive components, with tracking requirements and documentation for the internal learning team.

## What we delivered

- A Course Packager, reusable widgets, navigation and LMS-compatible course tooling, with client acceptance in February 2009.
- Technical design and user documentation so instructional designers could assemble courses using a common framework.
- Support for a Spanish-language product-training course reported live in June 2009.
- Packager and Captivate upgrades, followed by exit-handling and navigation fixes supplied for testing in 2010.

## Outcome

The engagement progressed from a design proposal to accepted tooling and a published course. The instructional design team could reuse the technical framework while concentrating on course content, with follow-up maintenance as authoring tools and requirements changed.

A separate harassment-training proposal was halted for budget reasons and is not included among the delivered courses.
